The Touraine

Located 20 minutes from the medieval city of Chinon, the fortified town of Cardinal Richelieu, is at the gates of the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Natural Park classified as World Heritage Unesco Global.

A real architectural gem, Richelieu is a unique example of 17th century town planning punctuated by superb mansions and the magnificent park of its castle.

It is a very plesant stop in South Touraine, to discover this land of vineyards with welcoming cellars, essential castles and pretty cities of character.
